I.- Course Policy

  1. Students are subject to the following penalties:
    1. If course is cancelled more than 4 weeks before arrival, no cancellation fee is charged but application fee.
    2. If course is cancelled 3-4 weeks before arrival, a 50% of all applicable charges are charged. ( after eliminating all discounts and fees)
    3. If course is cancelled less than 3 weeks before arrival, no reimbursement is possible. However, course dates can be changed without penalty if advised up to 1 weeks prior to arrival, otherwise no change is allowed. If a student doesnt show up for a course, no reimbursement or change of date will be allowed
  2. Students can change the level of their course, if they think its appropriate, before an examination by requesting to take a test for course placement and upgrade or by teacher suggestion and authorization.
  3. Students who did not pass a level examination can request to take the examination again only once.
  4. To complaint about a teacher or content students should fill the school survey, asking for it with the secretary or at the end of their course.
  5. If students want to cancel their course due to teacher complains, money is given back after review with other peers and colleagues.
  6. Course hours can be changed if groups of similar level are available and not full.

 

II.- Activities.

  1. Students can not change the schedule or weekend activities but can suggest activities to be included.
  2. Activities are paid one day before at the most and can not be cancelled or refunded afterwards.

III.- Housing

  1. Housing can be changed if expectations are not met, however, students must be aware that some options might be cheaper than others due to location and facilities, so a difference might be charged.
  2. Housing can only be changed with 2 weeks of anticipation because reservations are made with the housing department.
  3. To complaint about housing, students should ask for a school survey with the secretary or fill it after the course.
  4. Students can not change housing if they broke the rules of their housing, for example, arriving late in some families.
  5. Housing can not be refunded under normal circumstances, it can however be  changed.
  6. Housing might not be available if payment is not received with advance.
  7. School residence: student is subject to 4 weeks of penalty during the high season for cancellations made after occupyng the residence for more than 2 weeks and requesting change to other type of housing.
